I help SaaS founders and product teams make it easy for their prospects and customers to understand what they do.
Put another way, I help businesses make more money.
Start a conversationI investigate how customers actually experience your company and find the gaps. Complete customer journey analysis with specific recommendations for what to work on first.
I create the content and assets that move people from "never heard of you" to "ready to buy." High-impact pieces mapped to each funnel stage, plus templates for ongoing creation.
I help you and your team get better at the fundamentals of product marketing. Drawing from experience teaching students at Penn and MIT Sloan, I coach public speaking, data storytelling, and of course, making it easy.
Everything is becoming video. It's the highest-performing medium and sets the standard for capturing attention. I help you create video content that actually works for your audience and goals.
We talk. About your offerings, your company, and the opportunities in front of you.
We (the CC team) do the research. We learn your product, the problems it solves, and the market it playes in. We distill our findings, and your current positioning, to their fundamental essence. This will be the basis for specific deliveriables.
We refine based on what resonates. We move quickly and course-correct early, building the deliverables on feedback rather than hunches.
Products exist first in the mind. If it is hard to imagine how your product improves upon the status quo, then it will never become real.
Becoming real starts with positioning, the foundation for all marketing activities. You know that positioning creates expectations, but it also creates your company and product in the minds of your audience.
The behavioral approach leverages the teachings of behavioral economics, behavioral science, and consumer psychology to make it easy.
What is it? Anything you will ask your prospects, customers, or employees to do, on the path from product to market.
"This is awesome."
I'm Ethan! I'm a product marketing and content consultant.
I'm passionate about learning and teaching, so I feel hugely fortunate to have found product marketing as a craft and career.
Academically, I've studied history, consumer psychology, and yes, business administration. Professionally, I'm most familiar with B2B SaaS (the best business model ever), but consulting has allowed me to broaden my industry horizons. I've taught public speaking, data science, and product marketing 101 at Penn, MIT Sloan, and the Product Marketing Alliance.
